How Do Eco-Foam Extinguishers work?

Similar to water extinguishers, foam extinguishers have a cooling effect on the fuel.

On burning liquids, the foaming agent creates a barrier between the flame and the fuel, extinguishing the fire.

Eco-Foam Product Description

The Cannon 6-litre AFFF (foam) fire extinguisher is quality kitemark certified to BS EN3. The aqueous film forming foam (AFFF) extinguisher is suitable for use on Class-A and Class-B fires in industrial and commercial premises.

 Additionally the like the rest of the range the Cannon extinguishers are colour coded which makes them easily identifiable from a distance making them even safer to use. The foam extinguishers have cream-bases.

 Note: All of our extinguishers are also supplied with Glow-in-the-Dark sign, so they right extinguisher can always be seen/found.  The sign also highlights what types of fires it is safe to use on and the fire where it isn’t safe.

They are also supplied with Fire Blanket, which is made of highly flame-resistant material it can either be used to extinguish a small fire or to wrap around a person in case of a fire.
