ANSUL Restaurant Electric Detection (RED) Technology is an electric, fully supervised and monitored technology designed to work with ANSUL R-102 and PIRANHA Fire Suppression Systems.

ANSUL RED provides Smarter Protection against fires by activating the ANSUL Fire Supression System in the areas only where there is a fire, rather than across the entire kitchen; this avoids putting the whole area out of action, and reduces the clean-up time, as well as reducing the expense of refilling the ANSUL chemicals.
When combined with ANSUL® R-102 and PIRANHA systems, ANSUL® RED Technology holds a complete UL and ULC Listing, and ANSUL® RED Technology meets NFPA 96 and 17A requirements.
